The
Faint of Heart is a younger
5 piece indie doo wop outfit with Cleft S. leading the charge of an all female
back-up band. Their stripped down acoustic pop quirkiness nods to The Violent
Femmes, Belle and Sebastian, and The Velvet Underground. With catchy five part
harmonies, lyrics like "You're just a pretty face to use and throw away,"
xylophone and finger cymbal solos, and a strap on marching band snare kit...Faint
of Heart is a breath of fresh air in the Cleveland music scene. They
will be featured on the Strangelove Recording release Home
On The Strange Vol I. due out May 31st 2003. The band is currently recording
their first full length record and will be storming the shores this summer.
