In the renowned Chautauqua Institution in Chautauqua, NY there is a bench near the lake that is hidden by trees and shrubs. It was a favorite place of mine to escape to and listen to the waves, birds, belltower, and passing boats and steamboats. This song was inspired by that favorite spot in Chautauqua that my friends and I at some point labled the magic bench. This is an unmastered version of the song from the CD, "Stout & Martinis" |
