	Cucoloris creates something compelling and new with gorgeous instrumentation, moving vocals and highly original songwriting. Kat Cook's honeyed, hypnotic voice (call her a Harriet Wheeler who sounds like she means it) careens through the songs' lush soundscapes, casting both illumination and shadow on the appealing guitar lines. While the songs are very immediate by virtue of their sumptuous melodies, listen carefully for the precision of their marvelous arrangements and the clever, elliptical lyrics. Then, try and not listen again.
