Remix of Insalubrious (I'll Hum It 4 U). Much harder, much more electronically ... insalubrious! And with an extravaganza-like intro. If your neighbours can bear the sound of your loud speakers playin' REAL LOUD ... enjoy it! It's going str8 2 your ear drum. I know you'll like it! Excerpt from INTEGRATED ARTS review: "In the wreckage, we see the twisted remains of what was earth's last bastion of hope. A stereo still plugged into the wall of a tattered homestead, annihilated from a 100K bomb. We turn on the stereo, and reel back at the soundscape crackling from the speakers. Those who survived are wiping their tears. Spooky Electric could make a scene like this come into your ears. This is a remix of Insalubrious (I'll Hum It 4 U). Backbeat rhythm driven by a gurdy piano. Good stuff.". (((Excerpt from GODS OF MUSIC's review: "'I'll hum it for you', is a well knit fabric of melodic textures, soothing vocal samples, a driving drumtrack (especially the intro), and approaches a very unique trance-like quality. This tune borderlines several different genres... These are hard-driving, musical statements that require the listeners full attention. I was pulled into the "spell" from the explosive intro, and what feels to be a space odyssey bridge into the quasi-d-n-b/trance-like structure - and I was finally given birth to at the conclusion of the song. I find this tune to be more enjoyable at higher volumes!" Read on at: http://www.godsofmusic.com/gom/reviews.php3?action=detail&id=2253))) ::No.9 in Electronica:: |

This is the product of my collaboration with DjMfTp for A Bit Much! side project. Excerpt from Gods of music.com review:
"While listening to Echo Storm I was at first enthralled. However, upon multiple listens I noticed that I hadn't caught the voice in the beginning. That voice echoes for about a minute and half and just sets the tone for this minimalist ambient trip hop adventure. After continued listens, I was enchanted. Echo Storm is definitely a journey of sorts. You start in one place, one time and you find yourself floating throughout the unknown universe searching for the meaning of this song. Of course, you learn that the meaning is just a destination that means little if you don't enjoy the journey. And, that is my comment to the listener, go on the journey at least once without thinking about the grand scheme and enjoy your journey. The subtle synth is what really makes this track for me. Usually, I stay away from electronic pieces but this was mislabeled by the artist and was thrown into alternative and ended up at my electronic doorstep. I'm glad I was its destination. Bottom line: this song is a great song set with nuance and minimalism, ironic considering the name of the artist."-Clint Gaige-Gods of Music |
