Soprano Song Kim is from the Puget Sound area. In 1998 she was a finalist for the Ellen Faull Gordon
Competition in Portland, Oregon. In the following year she was a winner of the Seattle Ladies' Musical
Club Competition and was also chosen as a Regional Finalist for the Metropolitan Opera National Counsil
Audition. Her recent performances include the role of Barbarina in Mozart's Marriage of Figaro
with Tacoma Opera and scenes from Mozart's Don Giovanni with the Seattle Opera Previews. Additionally she
has recently performed Neue Liebeslieder Waltzes by Brahms, Missa Brevi in D by Mozart and Bach's
Cantata No. 150 with the Kirkland Choral Society and Exsultate Jubilate by Mozart with the Rainier
Symphony. Ms. Kim has studied at the University of Puget Sound and Peabody Conservatory of Music.
She currently studies with Mr. William Eddy of Tacoma.
