From the stunning poem by H.S. Mitchell comes a song so passionate that to listen to it both awakens the soul and grips it. Soaring piano, cello, strings, drums, fretless bass, complicated progressions, and the gut-wrenching heart aching lead guitar, played by Mark Skipper cap off this true masterpiece of a song.
THIS SONG represents the first collaborative combination of Lana J. Albert and Damien Project. Intricate in layering, expert sound, and true emotions, Mark adds a depth to Battlefield to with a parallel can scarcely be found.
We look forward to much more!! To read H.S. Mitchell's poem, you may click on the song title. |

This song was inspired by my good friend Scott Landers, who is also featured on the lead guitar. Diagnosed with MD, every song is a battle to not let the music be silenced in him. I wrote this based on an interview in which he spoke of putting down his guitar for 2 years until his nephew brought it back to him. The world is a much better place because of Scott's incredible music. |

This song was one of the hardest for me to create. This utilizes piano, string, and acoustic guitar, and was written literally with heart aching.
One day I will leave a legacy to my son and all those who know me. I hope with all my heart that it is something good. |

I took a break from being serious with this one, and had a lot of fun with the percussion and the light instrumentation and upbeat feeling. Gaviidae Common was written for the high-end shopping center in Downtown Minneapolis that hosts the Cities' Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, and various other jewelry and keepsake shops and comes complete with ornate fountains and expensive marble floors and glasswork. Always in the background is some light jazz, and that's what I was thinking about when I wrote this. Maybe some of the online stores will thank me for this (and some buyers won't ;)). Enjoy! |

Utilizing a lead piano, and backed by interesting bass and unconventional synth accompaniment, this song conveys what it's title suggests: A growing awareness and excitement about one's own existance, and the existence of possibilities not readily seen or realized.
I wrote this song because I made a friend of a once bitter enemy. I still feel wonderment and happiness at such a gift. Enjoy!! |

From the mind of master composer Mark D'Errico comes a song so mellifluous that it seems to fill up every sense you have and then some. This remix, mastered by Lana J. Albert, is a bass driven version of the original, and was done in definite tribute to Mr. D'Errico's stunning creation.
