| Finish born Soprano Tiina Ritalahti
has been a frequent participant in VocalArts Northwest programs, and has performed regularly with VocalArts Northwest for over three years, including last year's Benaroya Gala where she was a featured soloist. Tiina has also appeared as Susanna in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro, the 1st and 2nd Ladies in the Magic Flute, Adina in the Elixir of Love, Marzelline in Beethoven's Fidelio, Monica in Menotti's The Medium, and was seen in recital last summer performing song sets by Chausson, and Duparc. Most recently she appeared in recital with Mezzo-soprano Julia Pefanis performing Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, and songs by Michael Head and Richard Strauss. With the University of Washington's Opera theatre she appeared as Cis in Albert Herring and the First Spirit in Die Zauberflote. Tiina was recently accepted into the Ladies Musical club, and will appear in recital with Soprano Cristina Villareale in November, as part of their recital series.
