Fiction, poetry, & original music, based on true events about a walk with God through the Daytime of Prosperity & Nighttime of Loss.
Chapelgate, is the unusual home of an eccentric genius, Robin Isaacs, and
his young wife, Angel, and their family. Chapelgate is an awesome forest estate
with waterfalls, canyons, an old Grist Mill, & a Chapel. Their log & stone Lodge
mansion is hidden in the trees, high on a cliff overlooking the millpond. Here
Robin invents multi-million dollar technology to monitor the drilling of oilwells
using a computer satellite network.
Now picture Angel at Chapelgate, a beautiful young woman with long blonde
hair, serious blue eyes, bluejeans, tennis shoes, & a 12 string guitar. She loves
to sit at the top of her very own waterfall playing her guitar as the water cascades
down into the canyon below. There she sings in a soft, shy voice songs that she has
written from her heart, songs about God, songs to God. She also loves inviting Gods
special musical children to come to Chapelgate. Gospel & Contemporary Christian
Recording Artists, with hearts on fire for God, sing in the old Mill, rest, relax,
perform & use Chapelgate as their hideaway retreat. Robin, their children, her music
friends, songs, God, and Chapelgate are Angels life. Robin gave Chapelgate to Angel.
Angel gave it to God.
Now, imagine the unthinkable. In an instant, on Christmas Eve, Robin has a
heart attack and dies. Nighttime comes to this beautiful forest. Like dominoes,
Angel's world falls as she tries to care for her children and Chapelgate and her
husbands software and technology. Soon, a $690,000,000. battle with major
oil corporations rages. It will end in Federal court, with Angel sitting there
silently praying to her beloved God, trusting him. Like David & Goliath. But
imagine that the unexpected happens. The major oil corporations, Goliath, win.
Angel loses not only Robins intellectual property royalties but also everything
she owns, including Chapelgate. The cycle is complete, the Daytime of Prosperity
& the Nighttime of Loss. But why?

Angel yearns to understand why God let this happen. So she delves deeply
into studying the Bible. After 3 years she completes a Masters Degree. But thats
not enough. She still doesnt understand. So she studies the ancient Biblical
Greek & Hebrew of the original Bible scriptures. Finally, in the language of the
Garden of Eden, in the ancient words that Jesus knew & loved, she finds miraculous
patterns. For over 10,000 hours she studies these entertwining patterns of words
& concepts awestruck by their beauty & messages.
Then, picking up her pen, she begins to turn her true story into the story of
Chapelgate. As she writes, true events blend with imaginary...forest, waterfalls,
canyons, children, Gramps, who accidently creates an intelligent inchworm in
spectacles, and a magical archway to an exotic island. Through her pen the Gospel &
Contemporary Christian Recording Artists, with hearts on fire for God, who sing in an
old Mill, live again...and a young woman with serious blue eyes who deeply studies
ancient Greek & Hebrew writes insightful songs & poems about God...
