Key of E. Has a flat II chord that gives a colourful cinematic sweep...old time Hollywood flash. The rhythm section starts out doing a boppy one-two that morphs into an oooka-chooka from the dark continent. Recorded on four track with massive retakes of the drum track due to a clumsiness in executing the desired accent concept. Overall, an ace track. |

Key of G. Has rare E flat augmented chord acting as V of ii substitute...a tight move? Recorded to four track with two radio shack mics. Was easy to record but in retrospect, the groove came out a bit sloshy n'lax, but I still love this recording. |
