	Story Behind the Song came out of post surgical depression,man. I had been on the receiving end of some pretty brutal dentistry and was rolling around like a pig for four or five days in my apartment and watching T.v non-stop as the piles of garbage grew and threatened to engulf me and my lumpy futon nest. Lyrics tell it to me quiet so my brain can think tell it to me in a whisper so my soul won't sink you know I can't believe it oh you know I won't do it guess i must be crazy or some kinda stupid let it float right by me right above my head let the action finish happening while I'm still in bed because I don't wanna feel it oh you know I won't do it guess i must be lazy or some kinda useless the joker leads a lonely life the joker leads a lonely life too chickenshit way down inside and he's to slow to know he mighta let her get away for good should I never be awoken in a sudden flash may i keep right on sleepwalking peril in my path oh I know I can't be rescued but i still hope she can do it guess it all seems crazy or some kinda fruitless
