It is not necessary to travel south to experience the diversified sounds that come from the island of Cuba. Just spend some time in metropolitan Montreal, Canada, and follow the steps of nine Cuban- Canadian musicians, all Montrealers, who comprise CONVOY CUBANO, a band whose sound combines traditional elements of Cuban music, such as son, and guajira, with contemporary hip hop and rap influences.
