Kurb does not deliberately avoid the spot light, it’s just that we suck at promoting ourselves (as this lame-ass intro will no doubt show).
What we are good at, is cranking out great songs, and performing them in a way that will make you want to hold your pee ‘till the end of the show. Our music is not really pop, not quite rock, and not exactly punk, but borrows the best ingredients of all three. Our “hooks” are more subtle then those of your typical squeaky pop tune, but once they take hold, you will have to have them surgically removed. In true Canadian fashion, we believe that a complete lack of image, can actually be an image in and of itself (insert tongue in cheek here) and that passion, integrity and originality should define the threshold of success and not U.S. record sales.
