Gail George's heavenly pop music comes out of Los Angeles and it's entirely appropriate: Gail is an angel. From her perch on the business end of music or from a mic on the stage, Gail is the gift that's been giving and giving for years - ask any of the hundreds of musicians she's selflessly supported. Finally, this auburn haired, golden voiced angel has visited earth long enough to record her own songs and lets us hear what's been cooking up there in her rarified air. Her sound is California meets Liverpool - melodic vocals over chiming guitars - it's earnest, sweet and rocking. Might then Gail be a nightingale? Yes: lift thine ears and enjoy the unearthly sounds of Gail George.
- PARTHENON HUXLEY (P. Hux)
