a solo bass piece inspired by Bach. I had spent a long time studying and learning to play some of the Bach inventions. So, I decided to compose a counterpuntal piece using some of the techniques I had to develop to play the keyboard lines. I always intended to develop it into a larger work, but it somehow it felt complete. |

this is a piece written for solo 5 string bass in an altered tuning. From low to high it is B,F#,A,C#,G#. It is probably the closest thing to a love song that I have ever composed. Or is it a hate song? Sometimes it is not easy to tell the difference. |
