Formed in 1995 by former Sourbelly bassist George "Gee Gee" Bradley and drummer Jimmy Magnuson, a handful of line-up changes lead to guitarist/vocalist Steven Gullett joining the band and Love Lies Bleeding was born. Love Lies Bleeding released one full-length album ("Under the Gloss") and a split-single with Nostromo (both of which are now out-of-print!). The band toured the midwest relentlessly for nearly a year. The group disbanded in Detroit, MI while on tour with Jeff Dahl and the Trash Brats. After the break-up, Love Lies Bleeding played one final show in Fort Wayne, IN opening for the Undead with Bradley on lead vocals and the Story Changes' Mark McMillion filling-in on guitar. Magnuson now plays for metal band Rune, Bradley now plays in the Jackalopes and Gullett performs as a solo acoustic act. Check out the links section for more on the former members of Love Lies Bleeding's current projects.
