One day this will be a great live track, it has that certain groove to it. Part 2 of the drunken jamm with my roomate James McCutchen. I love the drums in this song, definately booze driven - they kick ass. Still working on the lyrics but i am sure that melody and chorus will stay. |

I love the verse melody in this song, the tag out on each line hooks me everytime. I originaly wrote the melody and some words but forgot how it went the next day. I thought it was gone forever. But - it came back and here it is. The words are still scratches but i think the first verse will stay. I hope the song means a message from a quiet savor "don't ever lack the strength to turn away" |

I call this a "couch" song. It was written while watching TV with my guitar on a couch. A lot of good songs get written in this fashion. At least for me. I orginally though this to be an acoustic song because it was kinda simple in form. But after a drunken jamm with James in Hollywood it started to pick up pace. And I am glad that it did because it works really well. The lyrics are still unfinished and were improvised. If anyone has ideas... send them along. |
