This is the follow up to the first night creep, which was on 1998 Excentric Hybrid, the first night creep, was also the first time Del~Gato worked with Solo Souljah. The two artists instantly clicked and became one of the most powerful teams on the unsigned circut today. The message behind the song is quite honestly a very angry retaliation to all the jealous and player haters. Del~Gato wanted a sinister but charming feel for the music, notice the Dracula style organ on the chorus sections. In his own opinion, this is the strongest track on the album. In the opinion of his fans, this is on of his best songs ever. Typically Del~Gato is one to keep to himself, and considered to be somewhat of a recluse. When we asked Del~Gato to comment on this song, he had this to say: "I've been representing Columbus Ohio independantly, and unsigned since 1994. It really pisses me off to see some of the very people who I am trying to help by promoting the Columbus Rap scene try to hold me down. Nightcreep 2 is my way of saying 'FUCK YOU' to those people and to say thanks to everyone who supports my music and the Columbus Rap scene." |
