The members of Jester's Crown:Eric King (aka Chris Klimecky) - Lead and Backing Vocals, Guitars Peter King (aka Pete Klimecky) - Bass Bryan Robb - Keyboards, Backing Vocals Tom Sharpe - Drums, Percussion, Backing Vocals Band HistoryJester's Crown existed roughly from 1991-1998. Their first major CD release, Above the Storm, was released in 1995 to eager fans who enjoyed the band's energetic, melodic take on progressive rock. Above the Storm went on to sell about 1200 copies. As the band did more and more in-store appearances performing acoustic versions of their songs, this sound began to develop almost on its own. The special acoustic EP, Where Daydreams Play, was released in 1996 showcasing this direction, and collector's packages were sold to the band's most dedicated fans. All of Jester's Crown's hard work came to a head a little more than a year later as they put the finishing touches on their second full length release, Away. Painstakingly recorded and engineered themselves, Away included classic prog-styled songs, acoustic leanings, and even a few tunes that angled toward pop areas. Unfortunately, the release of Away signaled the end of Jester's Crown, as response to the new album simply was not strong enough to support the massive investment of time, money and effort that had taken them to that point.
