Story Behind the Song
So what's with the name? Our keyboardist at the time, Dan Casey, was/is a big fan of the prog group Camel. This instrumental was one of the most prog pieces of music the band put together. At some point, Dan was looking through some book and came upon a picture of a strange pre-historic animal that was described as being "camel-like" - the Moropus. Kind of a cross between a horse and camel, I think...so anyway, from then on, Moropus was connected to the song as sort of like Camel...get it? :)
