What can I say? This song is about madness, which I have come to believe virtually everyone on the planet is. Without qualification, irrevocably, certifiably insane! |

This song was written while living in England. It's probably the most "positive" tune on the album. I like the idea of "Everything's not over, it's just beginning!". Perspective is everything. |

This title came to me while living in Wallingford,England. It was originally recorded by Cyndi Lauper, and this is my own updated version of the song. It was drawn from a cartoon I had remembered as a child, where a little boy digs a hole and crawls through the earth to meet another little lad in China on the other side of the world. This is how deep the the longing of the human heart can sometimes go.. |

"Subterranean Sea" one of my fave tracks on the album. I got the original title from listening late one night to the widely popular "Art Bell Show", his guest that night was going on about how they had discovered frozen oceans and volcanic activity underneath the surface of one of planet Jupiters moons named IO. "Subterranean Seas", in other words.
WHat a great title i thought to myself.
As for the meaning behind the song, i left it a little ambigious as i like to do sometimes. It addresses, living "in the world" but not making it to the point of being "of the world". The bridge addresses regrets at the end of life. The last verse speaks of "learning to walk thru dark, to truly know your way". In all honesty, i walked to the mic, that same night and sang the lyrics as they seemed to appear in my mind simultaneously. A sort of exercise of the "collective consciousness", perhaps.
The lyrics that "came thru, at their inception ended up being the first and final vocal "take".
Spontaniety is a wonderprecious thing!
Have a listen. |

This song is really quite self-explanatory. The Beatles, with Sir George Martin, were the masters. |

This song (although only a "ruff" demo) was inspired by a woman where the title was mentioned in a letter i recieved from her one day which really "struck a chord" as the song was essentially "channeled" .I believe this is a rarity and a gift from "our source" when it happens.

This song was written in one of those moments of complete despair and melancholy, in a motel room in Memphis. Just when I thought I had nothing left to say, nothing left to do, and nothing left to express, this song came through. I found that even from nothing, you get something. At any given moment, we are all "Out of Time" until the next moment arrives, and we find ourselves still able to move onward, one more "time", "in time". |
