	This title came to me while living in Wallingford,England.It was originally recorded by Cyndi Lauper, and this is my own updated version of the song. It was drawn from a cartoon I had remembered as a child, where a little boy digs a hole and crawls through the earth to meet another little lad in China on the other side of the world. This is how deep the the longing of the human heart can sometimes go..

	Story Behind the Song After recording my fisrt version of "China",(Hole In My Heart),i was contracted by Dick James Music Publsihing, of London as a staff writer. I worked with them for a year before being "let go." After i left, Epic Records and Cyndi Lauper's producer and management thought this would be an ideal track for Cyndi. It was also included in THe Columbia Pictures release "VIBES" starring Jeff Goldblum, Peter Faulk, and of course Lauper. Her version of this track can be heard as the credits roll at the ending of the film. Also available on "12 Deadly Cyns'" overseas and in Japan. My version here is the 3rd and definitive version of the song in my view.
