The Jukebox has been a mythic part of the music scene in America since music was first recorded. From the Juke Joints of the Twenties and Thirties through the Forties Big Band music up to the present, jukeboxes have brought people together and made them lovers.
This live, jazz version of Jukebox Lady by Bob Merriweather and his Big Band with Attitude is cheeky and high-spirited. This jukebox, exuding a sexy, vibrant joie de vivre, teases the lover, only playing sad, heart wrenching songs of rejection instead of that special, warm, love song so desperately needed by the love-sick man.
