| The Jukebox has been a mythic part of the music scene in America since music was first recorded. From the Juke Joints of the Twenties and Thirties through the Forties Big Band music up to the present, jukeboxes have brought people together and made them lovers.
This live, jazz version of Jukebox Lady by Bob Merriweather and his Big Band with Attitude is cheeky and high-spirited. This jukebox, exuding a sexy, vibrant joie de vivre, teases the lover, only playing sad, heart wrenching songs of rejection instead of that special, warm, love song so desperately needed by the love-sick man.

 Lyrics
Jukebox Lady

You keep playing those sad songs
While I try to find that glad song
 I keep making selections
Hoping to find our special tune
But I keep hearing blue songs,
 Wont do songs
And I am running out of dimes.

Jukebox Lady, Jukebox Lady, fancy chrome and flashing lights
Jukebox Lady, Jukebox Lady, playing dreams right through the night
Jukebox Lady, Jukebox Lady, play my dream tonight

And when I hear that melody
That point in time is just you and me
 I feel the emotion
And want so much to make it last
Got to hear it one more time
 One last dime
Play those sad songs some other time

Jukebox Lady, Jukebox Lady, fancy chrome and flashing lights
Jukebox Lady, Jukebox Lady, playing dreams right through the night
Jukebox Lady, Jukebox Lady, play my dream tonight
