May 1999, Showcase Concert for the Provincials winners.. from the awful accompaniest to bad tuned cello, NOTHING went right is all I remember.. :P I think I had a prettier sound back then though. The cello I played this on is no longer with me, it's being sold in Korea - I actually miss it sometimes, because although it lacked the big solo tone it had a very focussed and beautiful sound, especially in the high register. Boccherini sonata/concerto just don't sound the way it did on this cello now.. |
