We are the basic artists. We are the base. The base on which it has been possible to build Mp3.com. Without our music Mp3 would be no more than the mere name of a file type. We protest against the decision of Mp3.com to limit the availability of our music to a mere three tracks. We have allowed Mp3.com to use our music to create pages which have served as a vehicle for the advertisements of its own sponsors. We do not accept the decision to reward our contribution with such measures. We urgently ask Mp3.com to reconsider its decision and not to limit the number of tracks which are available on our artist pages."
