Hermes Metoyer, Son of Herb Metoyer(1965's)FolkWays Record label artist. Hermes is a Naked and Raw Solo Guitarist with a unique style and form. Uniquely moving and alive. Shallow minds should stay away. Not many artist these days are willing to step out without any musical makeup to hide there audio imperfections. Hermes has a beleive in perfect imperfection. Many people are abused because of their imperfection or errors, as a result we learn to try and destroy these manifestation and are unable to forgive the imperfection in self or others. But by forgiving these imperfections, one is able to move onward to absolute perfection(eventually). The "book of books" details the story of a creator who has been and is working toward the perfection of the whole human race. Hermes wonders how many times he considered burning the whole project, the flood was very very close to just this. But all this is a different subject, let me return to the issue at hand. Most of my stuff currently is recorded in one take. I perfer to try and capture that honest and sensitive experience of playing guitar for you, one on one in your living room or on the street corner. Although a little back up don't hurt from time to time. My father and I record a lot of this stuff in the basement of his house in Detroit MI. Be sure and check out "Trial". This song is about the crucifiction of Jesus Christ,.:x"They screamed 'Let us murder Jesus, They were selling tickets at the gate x:.......'". Well so much for "Hello, Hey, Howdy, Hi". Good Bye.
