This song has what I feel to be perhaps one of the most powerful, moving, and freeing lyrics ever written but, as often happens to great songs, poems, or works of any kind, it has become so commonplace that it has been reduced to somewhat of a cliche. This new arrangement enables me and, I hope, others to hear it in a fresh and more meaningful way. |
