This song is a criticism of the one who always makes excuses for his wrongful actions and who is not mature enough to ever take the blame for anything s/he does. If one is mature enough and is able to understand that s/he has flaws and has made mistakes, and is thus able to grow and learn from the past, s/he has a high potential for living a great life. |

This song begins with describing the introvert, the one who is not social.
As it progresses to the chorus, the song becomes up-beat. Here, advice is given to the introvert, "Get out there!"
The bridge then continues to give advice.
A very positive and uplifting song! |

This song describes the individual who is sick of all the shit that has happened to him/her and complains, yells, and feels sorry for him/herself as a result. A good stress release because sometimes you gotta get shit off your chest. Sometimes you feel like you just don't have any luck, but at the same time, you're used to it and you just don't care (Taylor yells about it as Darren says he has no luck passively in the song). |
