"Bombs Fell Like Rain" is a Genesis-type of song with heavy drums and with very serious lyrics.
The song is about the pain and the sorrows that war brings with it. The lyrics has been written through the eye of the innocent civilians whose destiny lies in the hands of the bomber pilots.
The first part of the song is quiet and calm and sets focus on the lyrics, but approximately after two minutes the song explodes into some hard drums. This is ment to be a metaphor for the bombs that's starting to fall like rain.
From there the song completes the drums by using a hard type of voice in rather high notes. |

"Downtown Oslo" may sound a little bit like Uriah Heep in its chorus. The first part sound like something Billy Joel could have done, but it makes a totally different turn when the chorus comes in. It's a song that very easily crawls into your head - and it stays there!!! |

"Allways Home" was written and recorded in Oslo 1994. We recorded it on a 12-track analog recorder.
It was fun to do the singing part because Arne Myhre, Torstein Diesen and myself recorded the singing live.
I remember I had to tune down the bassguitar on this song. It's written in D# and on a four-string bassguitar
the lowest key is an E. But I needed an D#, so I tuned the E-string down to D# and recorded it. |
