Listen for a Cure!
Listen for a Cure!
This page is dedicated especially to kids with juvenile dermatomyositis, or JDMS, and also to those who live with the other forms of myositis. What is myositis? It's a rare, inflammatory neuromuscular disease. Picture Pac-Man eating muscle fibers, sending lymphocytes to destroy the muscles of children, teens and adults.
The climbers involved in the Kili Climb for a Cure 2002 successfully summitted Kilimanjaro, and thanks to everyone who listened to these songs, we sent Laurel Colton $200 towards that end. Way to go, Laurel!
Visit me at Waterfall Hill Music, a Songwriting Ministry to learn more about how to support the research efforts of the Myositis Association of America or the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Show you care! Listen for a cure! Buy CDs from the Myositis Association at their store at http://www.myositis.org/resources/marketplace.htm Send a song via e-mail to your friends. Together, I believe we can make a difference. Thanks and may God bless you! I hope you enjoy my songs. As I say in "Singing for a Cure", you are not alone!

This song was written to benefit people who live with myositis. Since 9/11, people have told me it helps them cope with the new world we inhabit, when buildings get hit by terrorists in planes, when people die of anthrax, and when we must live the best we can anyhow. We are not alone! |
