Steven Kent Murphy is a composer and keyboardist from Indianapolis, Indiana. You can usually find Steve at the piano, whether it's on a stage or in your favorite local piano bar. Working on religious compositions, as well as musical theatre pieces, Steve works allot with local singers, Including Heather Patterson-King, Lolly Ramey, Tim Spradlin and Lori Ecker. He has been concentrating on original music compositions for eleven years, and enjoys writing for the piano in particular.
Writing for the piano has always been a source of inspiration for me. Because the instrument is so close to my heart, and because I've played it for so many years, writing for it is a very natural process.
