Story Behind the Song
An improvisation on a simple theme. A friend said to me, "Steve, this song doesn't sound impromptu at all!". I reassured her that I was using the word more to describe the style of piece. Other composers had used this word as names for their pieces, but their music was not really "impromptu" either.
