JIM SANTOS IS THE GUITARIST, KEYBOARDIST, PRODUCER AND MAIN WRITER FOR THE HARD ROCK BAND NORWAY
Jim is available for projects of all kinds, studio or touring. Capablilities include performance on electric and acoustic guitars & electric bass. Studio capabilities include synth sound programming and sequencing, drum machine programming, producing and arranging.
On this page Jim will be previewing
a collection of music clips that will showcase both his writing and performing diversity as well as arranging and production skills. The clips will range
from fully produced previews of recordings for NORWAY and his solo album, as well as previously unheard
"home demo's" and "unplugged" performances in various styles and genres including AOR, metal,blues, AAA, Americana, Pop, Instrumental, and film soundtracks.
SOLO RECORD ANNOUNCEMENT
I'm pleased to say I'm finally working on a solo record. Details will be announced
over the next few months. So far there are 5 singers lined up to perform, as well as other guest
musicians both known to the AOR/MHR world, as well as some of the best "unknown" players from New Jersey
I've played with over the years. Of course the guys from NORWAY will be making an
appearance too! I'm working on demos now, with recording to begin after the completion of the
next NORWAY record. Over the next few months I'll be putting up soundclips from my demo work,
little snippets that WONT be on the record,I guess all kinds of stuff!!

I've just added some guitar to tracks for the upcoming new CD from singer/songwriter Laura
Diamond. I love her stuff, and feel lucky to have been able to play on a few tracks. She has a very
cool modern alt/folk thing happening.

| This is the guitar solo from another 4 track home demo of a song i wrote titled "Miracle".
The song is in sort of a McCartney-Harrison-Travelling Willburys vien as is this clip from the solo, with a 2 part Harrison style slide solo.

| A progressive/techno synth song about how life is a circle. I was working on the demo, and did the rough drum and synth sequence and this was the 1st and only thing I played to it on guitar.
I never redid it because I liked the vibe so much. I'll probably put the whole tune on my solo record. |
