Hi, and thanks very much for visiting this page. My primary gig is as the bass player for Life in Art, but after years and years of playing music, I have recently made the effort to compose some of my own music, which will be presented here.
I'm new at all aspects of songwriting; I guess being a bass player can do that to a person, but I am learning, and am very excited about being able to make multi-track music so quickly and cheaply using my new Boss BR-8.
I'm not really a guitarist or a vocalist, but I try, and am starting to take that stuff a little more seriously. I started teaching myself keyboards in December 2000 too, and all of those things have helped my bass playing tremendously. Of course, there's always room for improvement!
Your constructive criticism is very welcome! Thanks again!

Thanks for sending the original recording of this song to #15 on the Christian Pop charts! Here is the new version of this song, recorded digitally onto my Boss BR-8. I might've gone a little overboard with the instrumentation this time ;) |

The beat for this song is based on a Middle Eastern rhythm called Wahdah Tawila. I remembered it from my time as a percussionist in the UCSB Middle East Ensemble and thought it might be fun to loop it and jam over it. This is what I came up with. |

Still one of the most popular (and beautiful) songs ever written. Duet of bass and acoustic guitar. |
