5/24/02 - The shirts have arrived, we have just begun to distribute them. We need shows! Someone gives us shows, cuz we are the greatest band in the history of the world!
4/14/02 - Spence and Stefan have left the band, Matt Hand has joined. The new lineup is John Crawford on guitar/bass/vocals, Dan Schiels on vocals, Joe Allocco on bass/guitar/vocals, and Matt Hand on drums and occasionally popping up on guitar or bass. The Battle of the Bands went so well, considering that we had only practiced with Matt for a week beforehand. People went absolutel y insane and chanted along to Porpoise Girl, and then chanted for more once our set was done. We didn't win, but if it was based on audience participation, we would have come out on top. Anyway, Wafflestomper shirts are coming soon, as are demos, which we begin this weekend. Be ready!
3/27/02 - The show went really well, with only one broken guitar and one broken string...A lot of people from our town showed up, much thanks to them. Also, we extend our pi rate hand of friendship to Jerk Chicken, who let us borrow their guitar when John broke ours. We're playing the New Providence High School Battle of the Bands on April 12th, and the HS should be rocked like it's never been rocked before. You can obviously expect Wafflestomper to come out triumphant over all of those lesser bands that we are playing with.
3/3/02 - The show is exactly two weeks away, and we are ready to rock. We recorded Breed and Flipper Baby Picnic for the Ace Freebird Show on TV 35 on Friday afternoon in the NPHS TV studio, and it's pretty amazing. We're gonna try and put the video from that up on our website.
2/1/02 - Wafflestomper has begun the revolution! We're playing the Hamilton Street Cafe in Bound Brook on St. Patricks Day, and an EP will be released soon after. Email us for directions and a ticket will be sent to you in th e mail ($6).
