    Trapper News

23 October 01: Two of my tracks, Zippo and Muse (Original Mix) have been licensed for use in an upcoming PC football management game from Acclaim!
17 October 01: The new track, Zippo, is at last finished - stream or download it below!
23 July 01: Working on a new Prog Trance track with b-i-i-i-g breakdowns, the best sounding so far. Also watch out for brand new artwork on the site soon and for the forthcoming album sleeve.
19 July 01: Four tracks just released on Osmosis 24 MP3 compilation in the UK, along with some good loop-driven funky stuff by another UK artist naSTEe.
12 July 01: Gonna be working on a remix of a great track by :ME/Project called Amber (play HiFi, LoFi) The original's an ambient noodler but the Trapper Treatment should be a bit darker, harder and nastier, heh heh.
4 July 01: Just noticed from my stats that MP3.com staff have added Muse (Orginal Mix) (play HiFi, LoFi) on rotation in Melodic Trance Recommendation Radio. Thanks guys!
26 June 01: Muse (Original Mix) debuted at number 29 in the Ampcast Trance Charts! The same track's also made the UK Melodic Trance Top 40 on MP3.com.

    Best of UK Trance

Aquatech: James Wood, trance artist from London, serves up sophisticated Melodic and Progressive trance - one of the best dance acts on MP3.com. Go check his stuff.
Arksun: Arksun has been producing quality trance for years now but thanks to breaks from UK DJ Paul Oakenfold and magazine Future Music, he's been going from strength to strength. Check out his website http://www.arksun.co.uk/ and make the most of the free downloads while you can!
DarkUFO: A real mixture of stuff from this prolific UK dance act, a lot of it Psytrance but with a real Melodic feel. Top notch production values! Er... a bit obsessed by UFO culture...

A return by popular demand to a darker, progressive sound. Trapper's latest groove was written in one four day sleepless session, and features cutting edge synthesis from FM7 and Spektral Delay - made enirely in sofware. Described by Maxim UK as 'Trapper's darkest, nastiest track to date. Download, play, get f*cked or put your pyjamas on and make a cup of cocoa'. I agree... Pass me the cocoa...

Epic Melodic Trance! 3 months in the making, a massive 40 track blitz that was a bitch to mix and even harder to encode to MP3. Full of fat uplifting breaks, download it now and wave your hands in the air! Enjoy!

Harder and darker than most of my stuff, but still I think melodic not Goa, depite the Eastern cadence. Originally written entirely in Reason (for the purpose of a review in a UK magazine). I rather like this one, especially the screwed up percussion...
