Harder and darker than most of my stuff, but still I think melodic not Goa, depite the Eastern cadence. Originally written entirely in Reason (for the purpose of a review in a UK magazine). I rather like this one, especially the screwed up percussion... |

Story Behind the Song
Know Propellerheads Reason? I got a commissioned to review it for PC Pro in the UK and had a bit of a ball - what a top bit of s/w!!! The only problem is it's so blooming mono as opposed to stereo. I finished the track but thanks to the mono synth sounds, mono ReCycle, crap FX it had potential but no depth. Slowly went through it, replacing sounds with stuff from my MicroWavePC (a Waldorf synth in a PC drive bay) and it started to get some depth. Thanks to whoever wrote the patch for the bouncy percussion on the MicroWave - gave me the impetus to finish the track. One of my faves now, though as usual it doesn't really fit in any category...
