	A tale of small town woe in up-state California.Review: From the very first chord you cant help thinking that this tune has real anthemic qualities reminiscent of Nirvana's Smells like Teen Spirit. Bear Mountain Date Rape is a short song at just over two minutes, however quality in this instance far outweigh quantity. In a great display of versatility Ant's style reminds me of both the Pixies and Cake, which for my money is an amazing combination. This track has a hook that you could hang a truck on and it wouldn't surprise me in the least if this was the song that launched their commercial success. Not content to throw in some distorted guitar and call it a day, they have given this piece some real dynamic structure without placing vocals, drums or guitars in the background.
