A song that covers both perceptions of the average white American "Joe". Just to explain the lyrics: the first half is a negative, stereo-typical view of the lower class white American. It's political satire. The most contraversial part is the chorus of the first half that says "mexicans". Look, I'm not racist, why would I, a hispanic, diss the people a love, laugh, and live with everyday? I wouldn't, its political satire.
However the second half is not satire, it is (in my opinion) the actual situation the average lower class white American experiences. Then the end is supposed to clear up any indifferences when it says "Hi, I'm Joe America, misunderstood and overjudge..." but it doesn't seem to click with anyone ^_^. Just read the lyrics and think about the words.
