A song that covers both perceptions of the average white American "Joe". Just to explain the lyrics: the first half is a negative, stereo-typical view of the lower class white American. It's political satire. The most contraversial part is the chorus of the first half that says "mexicans". Look, I'm not racist, why would I, a hispanic, diss the people a love, laugh, and live with everyday? I wouldn't, its political satire. However the second half is not satire, it is (in my opinion) the actual situation the average lower class white American experiences. Then the end is supposed to clear up any indifferences when it says "Hi, I'm Joe America, misunderstood and overjudge..." but it doesn't seem to click with anyone ^_^. Just read the lyrics and think about the words. -Dan

    Story Behind the Song
I felt like writing a funny satire and the song riff sounded very southern like.

    Lyrics
the song is called "Joe America":

    Can’t you see that I don’t care
    for politics and global war

That my car pollutes and wipes out
several types of aminals ––– (intentional miss spelling)

I want my ice cold bruskies, my trucks and guns
to fend my house from all those mexicans
my weekend football, and late night shows
to beat up homos, and spend my wage on smokes!

    Don’t you dare judge me-
on what you think you see

I am just like you, I must-
    provide food for my family

I want an education, a higher wage
and cheaper health care for my back pain
I could be dead or dying, its just the same
Why should I care to vote, since I know my life will not change

    Hi, I’m Joe America
    misunderstood and over judge
only one country in the world
where you’ll find a Joe like me...
