Shirt is a song about love and hope. It's about that first post-high-school relationship: the one that kind of draws the line between silly childhood crushes and silly adulthood crushes. I dunno, maybe you never had one. I did. This is it. |

I wrote this song for a paper in my Rhetorical Theory class. Thus some of the big words. It's a holiday song, full of christmas cheer! Okay, well, maybe not, but if there were an anti-capitalist-acoustic-christmas-hits-written-for-college-credit album out there, this would be the lead (and probably only) track. Enjoy! |

Based in part on the independant movie of the same name. Rent it. It's realy good. The opening verse of the song is a paraphrasing of the opening line of the movie. Thom recorded this version using some crazy filter that makes it sound like I left it on a girls answering machine, which I though was pretty rad. I hope you like it. |
