Well this is Riot.
2003/10/27 - RIOT RECORDS DROPS TRIFIXION
A band with much potential has been dropped. I constantly got e-mails regarding this band as good. The problem however is that Trifixion is not producing. An expected album which was due last year, never happened. The band was slated to have a new track called "Con" on Riot Records Tape Release 5, which James describes as a joke. It was recorded over a year ago. Although many bands are failing to produce, making this Riot's worst 2 years since becoming a label in 1994, Trifixion is pretty much a "scare tactic" to tell these people they had better shape up. "Con" will still be included on Riot Records Tape Release 5, however. Star And The Amazing, you're next!
2003/10/27 - RIOT RECORDS TAPE RELEASE 5 IN THE MAKING
The series that made Riot famous is now coming back with instalment no. 5. So far only half is made the tapes usually feature rarities by Riot and other bands like Foo Fighters, Tool, etc. There has not been a new tape release since late 1998. The original RRTR5 was scrapped in early January 1999. This one will feature Self-Titled's cover version of "Starla" by Smashing Pumpkins (go to fotos to view the promo). It's about time, it will probably feature some other gems as well from Rubber to Teenage Riot, since almost half of the Teenage Riot has been opened for a planned rarities release to coincide with the 10th anniversary of Riot Records. Also check out sELF-Titled's site, as 2 new songs have appeared there also.
