For starters, happy new year to all. If you made any resolutions, well you can just forget about em since the last person who'll listen to you is yourself.

Dec 4th was a pretty cool gig at the 360 - met some musicians from the Kitchener-Waterloo area, most notably Matt Osbourne who wowed everyone with his unique stage presence, wit, and blend of blues with pop rock. Click on his name to check out his website and new album Man Versus Concrete, which gets a fair amount of play on my home Victrola.

If you haven't yet, get into cajun food. The amazing variety of spices and tastes are well worth the time spent on the toilet afterwards! *SHAMELESS PLUG* Pineapple Thief's eagerly awaited new album, Variations On A Dream is expected to be released Feb/March of this year. Well the "chicken" news has everyone at the GBP excited - the advertising team has never been happier and my manager seems to have developed a condition known as 'a good mood'. Up in sales, the mood is somewhat different: thanks to the upturn in business, it looks like they'll be working straight into the new year. Despite the ruckus and bum-pinching, life goes on and we continue trying to bring you at least a smidgen of entertainment for you hard-earned web minute. Because we care. And I'm not just saying that.

Lately, there is much talk of my sister company J&W expanding into new and exciting markets. I cannot comment on details but there is some movement in that area. Reports to come. At present, resources are being redirected to the Parent company, Watermark, which has lost all its holdings in the bass player department but will hire the extra workload to out-of-house parties, as this cuts on expenditure. Expect an appearance at the yearly convention to be announced very soon (specifically, Wednesday December 4th at the 360, no cover email Sancho in marketing for details).

Sadly, that's the end of the monthly report on all things GBP. We expect the holiday season to bear new fruits on stage as well as off. All that's left to say is that your investments are in good hands and we hope that your gross financial loss this year was trivial. Til tax season!
