News (March 14th) - Since the last bit of news too much has happened .. but i'll try to sum it up. The plan for my album has been destroyed, A few songs were writen and we had plans to record until news came of Aaron Bradbury(vocalist)having leukaemia..lets all wish Aaron luck with his treatment. I've spent the last few months studying abnormal psychology, taking enormous amounts of hallucinogens, and just writing songs on my acoustic... Locked in my basement.. alone.. going completely fucking insane. It is no way to write an album that is supposedly the best thing you have ever written.
I have kept some of the songs I have wrote but most of them just gave me a syd barret kind of feel ... made me feel like I was going crazy already at such a young age. I've completely shut myself off from any sort of media... even my computer.. no t'v .. no radio.. nothing. I have found 4 drummers that Im gonna jam with... I'll get something recorded soon I hope..... no dates yet... the hell with dates.
News (sept 29th) - I (Glen) am in the early stages of creating a 'solo' project inwhich I will play and produce all instruments. Writting is going extremely well, not quick as I had feared. I have decided to begin recording on the 16th of Jan. and the album will be out march 15th. This will give me more than enough time to make this the best thing that I have ever acomplished and something that I will not look back on and regret *cough*P.E*cough*. The sound? well it's a combination of what I have done for Wars of Winter and some of my life influences so far .... not my usual 4/4 at all. Ideas for lyrics are still in the early stage's but I can say that it will be a concept.
News(may 17th) - Wars of Winter are currently inactive but not dead we have plans to search for a record label in te near future until we find one that is good for us or basically anyone who is willing to do it, we will remain inactive,

Perhaps our most intense song to date, this chaotic blaze of metal sweeps the listener into a dark chapter bound in the darkness of helplessness. This is trademark Wars of Winter sound, but perhaps with a little more twisted aggression than usual. |

A progressive epic journey through the realms of love and death. Again, part of a conceptual tale, this song is merely a small part of a large dark tale. Emotions are sheaken and stirred by musical excursions into, anger, aggression, sorrow, and despair. |

Divinity Aflame is a skillfully composed more balanced Wars of Winter song, which bears both
uncommonly sounds of early Baroque and other classical periods and combines them with open-
minded metal elements to construct a sound yet to be determined by means of the listener. If
you’re enthralled in a guitar accustomed classical atomospheric metal without borders than
you’re not too distant from some exceptionally gratifying entertainment. |
