Note to first-timers: the newest news is at the top here and the old stuff down below. If it's all news to you, try reading from the bottom up. :)
June 8, 2003. Well, since I re-designed the look of this page, I decided to remix IDLTGE, which is now online. I should say "mixed", since the old version never even got that, but I am so sick of that version, I have finally made it go away. Now I must rid this page of "Ground Zero"...
And while on the topic of that, the joke escaped all but a handful of people, but yes, GZ was a morality fable about reactions. Yes, it's supposed to be too loud, miserably executed, uninspired, and all of that. Apologies to anybody who believed it. (sigh)
June 2, 2003. In response to recent email I have been receiving, all I can say is: You're so vain...you probably think this eff yoo'z about you. Don't you? DON'T YOU?!? :)
May 27, 2003. Like the song says, it's been awhile. No new music to report since everything usually ends up in a different project (or is a cover tune).
The side-project band, Stackframe, never materialized due to personality conflicts. I'll post all the gory details to the newsletter as soon as I am finished dreaming up the story.
Greetz to my friends Andy, Kevin, Brian, Topher, SFTM, Josh, Victor, Tony, Keith, Michael in Austin, Barry, Robin, Steve the company man, Roy (yes, THAT Roy), Tim, Ricky (one of the last saints of rock & roll) and [insert your name here]. Major eff-yooz to studios who dump masters before they can be remixed, to "artists" who bail out after exploiting their management, to sorry local performers who try to attack indie startup projects to make themselves feel superior, and to anyone who doesn't believe in peace.
Dec. 1, 2000. The first single by Skinny Robbie released to mp3.com is
finally available! A spirited response to Shauna Skye's "I Don't Like That Girl" is now available on this very page
and we think you'll wanna spin this record on your phonograph every Saturday (after eating cereal and watching cartoons,
naturally.)
