| This true story of a young man's life changed by the presence of God is a roadmap to those who suffer from Alcoholism. This Alcoholic and addict was touched by God and so desperately wanted to reach him. He tried, as many of us do, to think his way to God. But our disease starts in the mind so it is compromised. We feel God but behave in the same sinful way that we always have. For me, it took both the awareness of God and the twelve steps of recovery which taught me how to behave and live differently. His seven friends mentioned at the conclusion, made a decision about a higher power and then entered a treatment facility to learn these steps of life. |

Through the miracle of recovery, I came to understand the pain of his life, his disease, and the wonderful things that he gave me.
