Donkey (Hans Fjellestad and Damon Holzborn) is an electroacoustic improvisation duo that explores the territory between open form and structured improvisation and noise art. Released on the Accretions label, Show is a collection of live concert recordings with guest performances by Matt Ingalls and Marcus B.
Fjellestad and Holzborn began their music collaborations in 1992 at UCSD. Donkey has performed throughout California and is based in San Diego. They are founding members of the Trummerflora Collective, dedicated to the San Diego creative music scene. Fjellestad and Holzborn also created Zu Casa, an online laboratory for exhibition, performance and promotion of experimental music and improvisation worldwide.
