Philip has been a professional guitarist for 15 years. He holds a degree in Classical Guitar from Stetson University and commands both classical and electric guitars. Currently Philip is in his seventh year as Guitar Professor for Sweet Briar, Randolph Macon and Lynchburg Colleges. ~Philip has studied with the best guitarists in the

David Russell. Philip studied privately with composer Harold Blanchard whose "New Earth Sonata" features Quincy Jones, Hubert Laws, Chick Corea and William Kanningeiser. Philip has performed with members of the Miles Davis band and is a founding member of "The Stetson Guitar Quartet".
