FLACK do not believe guitar music needs to carry on limping about with nostalgia crutches embedded in its draughty armpits.
Too many groups have been eaten alive by the culture, do what they're told because they're told to. Most of them seem to have swallowed record collections consisting entirely of Paul Weller, Starsailor, David Gray and the Smashing Pumpkins. Is the amphetamine shortage really that bad?
