	This is a song inspired by my lifelong patriotism as an American and with a renewed sense of pride following the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States. It is a song about our nation's flag. My good friend Ronny Tidwell played guitar and sang it. We recorded it here in Nashville, Tennessee, on a small digital four-track recorder at Ronny's home on September 30,2001.
